Today is International Mountain Day! 🏔️ So I wanted to send a message... First and foremost thank you to all the countries around the world who truly put in the man-hours to maintain these places. From Kedarnath in India, Annapurna in Nepal, The US Park Service, and so many more they are the reason why these places, these natural chapels of purity can not only be accessed, but climbed and in doing so appreciated. ✨ And secondly to those of you out there who haven't climbed yet, please do. I say this with as much importance as I say to meditate, or study the philosophy you feel called to in life. Because the mountains are non-different from these things. They ARE the guru in the deepest form. And climbing will teach you more about your own mind, emotions, weakness & strengths than almost any other practice possible. Doesn't matter if it's just a hill nearby or a cliff face. Go climb something, and if there truly is nothing near you, plan a road trip in the future because it will be worth it. 💙 For as the legend John Muir once said, "The mountains are calling, and I must go." .
