This story is about my friend Teri Gamble’s son. I love Teri so much and what she shares about Michael. “When Michael was first diagnosed at 7 years old, I had never heard of Aspergers. 🤔 I was, however, very familiar with ADHD. I had taught several students who struggled with it and knew the impact that it had on their daily lives.
I struggled for awhile to put Michael on meds. I witnessed some of the nasty side effects 😫 from my students and heard about more from their parents.
When Michael’s psychologist said if he could focus and control his actions better, that not only would his confidence increase, so would his IQ, Bill & I decided to give it a try.
He tried almost every ADHD medicine on the market: Ritalin, Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta... just to name a few. They helped with his focus, but ... he lost his sweet personality, was tired, stayed constipated, had no appetite (I had to make him eat!!), had an upset stomach, and always, always struggled to fall asleep!! Sometimes, it would take him hours to fall asleep, even with his “nightly” Melatonin ritual. 😢
After researching and hearing about how Aspergers & ADHD are gut related (imagine that!!), I decided to give him the same supplements that I take. Did you know that magnesium, vitamin C, and vitamin B6 help combat ADHD⁉️ He is no longer on any prescription medications 🙌 or seeing his doctor every three months... and yes, he is able to concentrate. He’s a cashier handling a lot of customers/money and is doing a great job! His coworkers compliment him every time I go in the store! 😍 Never say never!!! 👊
These supplements have made a huge difference!! He is able to focus, his personality is shining again, he has an appetite, no more stomach issues, and since starting Probio5, he falls asleep right away!! Huge victory!! 🎉
I love giving him natural, plant-based ingredients, instead of synthetic chemicals!! No more side effects!! He’s doing great, and he’s loving life!! ▶️ UPDATE: I have shown Michael your comments and told him how happy everyone is for him. His response, while laughing ... “Well, I’m not signing any autographs!” 🤣😂 - Aspergers sense of humor!!”
