What does your Anxiety Stop you From? Comment it below 👇👇⠀ ⠀ I get so many questions every single day on overthinking, and how to stop obsessive, intrusive thoughts. This, in particular, was by far my most difficult and challeging struggle that i had to endure for over a decade: Non-stop thinking, regretting a past that had already happened, anticipating the worst for a future that hasn’t happened, and feeling guilty for the present that is happening - to me and not with me, because i was just not present.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Your Overstimulated nervous system is what creates the sense of “being” in a body, thus separate from all (separate from the light). And that's what is called your “thinking.” Your nervous system is the root to all thinking. And all that you “think” you see, are perceptions of reality ie. alterations, versions and your own creations of reality that covers the light. If you take a look at scholarly research on a child’s brain and their nervous system, you will come across a multitude of findings that prove that it is not yet as "advanced". Thusly, children don't see themselves as separate from all, but as the one who is aware of all, including their mind, body and soul. They don't think, they are, they be, and they exist.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Hence, the key to stop over-thinking is to calm down the over stimulated nervous system to a frequency of meditative state. To be Mindful of the present, unconcerned with the past, and worry-free of the future. That way the cycle of thoughts can stop and the truth (light) can shine through. How? ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 1) Train the brain to “be.” Begin training your mind to exist by practising self-love. Love will comfort your inner child that is seeking for saftey. Love everything you see, feel, sense. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 2) Hit Pause: stop. This is the easiest thing to do. To do what? to do nothing, not even the stopping. You don't even need to do the “doing” or the “not doing.” ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 3) Hit Reset: pause. Pause 12 times a day at minimum for 2-5 seconds. No phones, No electronics, No humans, No animals. What I adore most about Demi is her willingness to be vulnerable with the world. She has gone through so much in and out of the public eye. Yet, she chooses growth every single time. We all go through stuggle and trauma throughout our life time. That will never end. When I first got into personal development I really struggled with the euphoria of "having it all together" and then the crash and burn of when I realized woah life is still unpredictable and shitty stuff does happen. It seems so simple. Does it not? But as a Mom... I think it’s easy to lose sight of yourself... Where you put yourself within the totem poll of life. I was at the bottom. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to shower for three days... it’s that I couldn’t. I didn’t have that opportunity and I didn’t have it within myself to stand up for the little things... like... a shower. Looking back upon my early years as a Mom... it really fell on me to make myself more of a priority. It’s so easy to push off your needs in order to constantly care for others... it’s an uncomfortable word for so many of us to say “hey... I’m going to be selfish today.” Hmmm 🤔 guess what. I don’t think going to @target to randomly walk around the aisles to just space out for a bit is selfish. But for some reason - taking care of yourself can feel so weird as a mom. Or awkward. Or uncomfortable. In fact, Id even go so far as to say sometimes our lack of care for ourselves is like a badge of honor 😳 But here’s the thing. I’m reminding YOU that you are important. Not for your kids sake. Not for your husband or for your dogs. Nor your friends or relatives. FOR YOU. You are important. Take time for yourself. Be “selfish” - whatever that means for you. Take a nap. Go for a walk. Take a shower. Get a cup of coffee with a friend - alone. That simple. Ready for more? Get your haircut. Lose the weight you keep talking about. Work out 💪🏼 2020 for me is getting myself back... because somewhere along the way of having two kids - I lost myself... and that’s ok. I’m not good at being “selfish.” But gloves are off - it’s going to be a good year ❤️ tag someone below that needs the reminder AND comment below with one step you can start with to take better care of yourself. Because - trust me on this one - everyone else, not just you, will be happier for it... it’s a hard step to take - that first step of being your best version - but it gets easier from there 😉

Hey guys! . So as you know if you have followed me for a while, I created this fitness page to help others with their fitness journeys giving health advice and exercise tips because I work in the industry. I provide content which I think is helpful and I promote my services I offer in my work as a coach. - BUT ALSO one of the main reasons is to be real. To write real life content and If I have real life problems like everyone else. I will always be real with you. Just because i work in the fitness industry and help others, it doesn’t mean I’m perfect. Nothing is perfect. I still have down days, I still self doubt, I extremely criticise myself and I’m probably way to hard on myself sometimes. I’m still human too. - Don’t look at anything on Social media and think it is perfect because it’s NOT. Even I have days where I get sucked in to the “perfect” of social media, I sit, I scroll and I think HOLY SHIT! I get anxiety, overthink and I start to compare myself, doubt myself and question myself. ❌❌❌ why do I feel like I need validation?! NO! - Listen the world has changed so much and social media is now huge! I remember when it wasn’t! BUT REMEMBER WHY YOUR LOOKING AT IT in the first place. Don’t get sucked into anything else other than what you made your account for or what your scrolling to find. Follow people that truly inspire you and you just do you. ✔️ 💙💜

Christmas holidays & mental health 👇🏻 - I don’t know about anyone else but my mental health takes an absolute battering this time of year 🥺 the week running up to Christmas I was so busy at work and trying to get “Christmas stuff” done and then all of a sudden.. it’s Christmas, with so much free time on my hands that I’m meant to enjoy right? WRONG! My anxiety soon set in on Boxing Day, panic attacks came next and then a few days go by and depression reared it’s ugly head. Your left questioning yourself, in a battle with yourself and not wanting to tell anyone how you feel because you don’t want to feel like your bringing anyone else down. ——————————————————————— Why is this happening? Why now? Why am I not normal? Why is everyone happy and I’m not? Why are they not bothering with me? Is it just me? I experienced just how tough life could be when I growing up. I absolutely loved my childhood and in primary school I have nothing but good memories but then as soon as secondary school come around everything changed. I become a very lost girl, I completely changed myself for the approval of others. I thought I had to be someone else that was not me. The memories are bad. I then suddenly lost my father later in my early twenty’s. I struggled with grievance, I felt so lost I didn’t know who I was anymore. So I have been down that bad road, i have been at rock bottom and experienced what that’s like. I have struggled mentally with myself since and battled endlessly with anxiety and depression. It was rough going!!! And that’s the extremely short version. ———————————————————————— HOWEVER... I did find the strength and I came out the other side! I found the power of exercise and it helped me with so much mentally! I believe breakdowns do create breakthroughs. With the right guidance, help and support. I made it out of the darkness. My biggest mistake was never telling anyone how I felt, keeping it all bottled up and trying to get though it on my own for years when I should have reached out to my loved ones. Then I realised I wanted to help others come out of the other side too and never to suffer in silence for as long as I did. I never ever want anyone to feel the way I did for that long. I want to be the one they reach out too and that’s what I did and that’s what I do! 💖 Happy Monday!

WEIGHT FLUCTUATION 👇🏻 Daily weight fluctuation is normal. If you weigh yourself in the morning and then again at night, you could witness a relatively dramatic difference BUT don’t panic. The average adult’s weight fluctuates up to 5 or 6 pounds per day. It all comes down to what and when you eat, drink, exercise, and even sleep. - The food you consume can weigh a few ounces per meal to a few pounds per day. The water in food can cause your weight to increase and many times after you've been eating a lot this water weight is what causes the number on the scale to rise. High salt foods can also cause water retention. The extra water adds up to pounds on the scale. Some people are very sodium sensitive and may retain more water and others are less so. ——————————————————————— Other Factors to consider which so can have an Impact is 👇🏻 Dehydration . Menstrual cycle (girls!) . Illness . Medications . Stress .——————————————————————— So what happens to all of that food or water weight? It doesn’t automatically stick to your thighs. The calories in food are either used to fuel your body’s natural processes or the energy is stored to be used later. Waste products are processed and excreted by your body in the form of urine and stool. You wake up the next day and it will again be a different number or near to what you were he previous morning. ———————————————————————— The number on the scale doesn’t matter so get out the habit of weighing yourself every day and concentrate on how you feel 💪🏻🙌🏻

Sedentary 👇🏻 Hey guys so i have been meaning to write a post about this, I was on a training course a month back, it was a full week, Monday to Friday 9-5 and it was such a big change for me because I was so sedentary which I’m not used to. I still wore my FitBit for the full week to see the changes from what my usual days are like. When it got to 5pm - finishing, I looked down at my watch and I had less than 3,000 steps. 😳🤯 - I’m used to being on my feet, on the go and being active all day, hitting my normal 12,000 + steps, that’s with out exercise and then I would do my resistance training later in the day on top of that. To those of you who have a sedentary working life I totally get it! It’s hard going! Working 9 till 5 sat at a desk all day isn’t easy on the body at all! Finishing work knowing that you then have to try get some steps in and go to the gym could feel like a chore. ——————————————————————— TIPS to an active day👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 1️⃣Take the long route. Whether you get to work by bus or car, try fit in a short walk before hand to get some steps in. Plan your day. 2️⃣Climb those stairs. Yes, we all prefer to take the elevator. But those few extra steps can make a huge impact on your health. 3️⃣Prioritise and take physical activity seriously, no matter how busy you are. Exercise before or after work. Choose a time you will be feeling most motivated whether it’s a morning or evening. Health is to important. 4️⃣Group exercise classes are fun! Plan something you will look forward to straight after work. 5️⃣Get a fit bit or a divide that tracks your daily activity. I think this Is a great investment so you know how active you actually have been. It teaches you a lot about your lifestyle.

Mental health 🧠👇🏻 Do you care for your mental health? It’s so important to look after your mental health just as much as your physical health. ——————————————————————— Here is a few ways I care for my own mental health. 👇🏻✨ ——————————————————————— 1️⃣ Exercise! For me exercise has always had a huge impact on me. Discovering the power of exercise at a young age made me feel capable of anything and I always feel in control. Exercise and activity releases endorphin hormones which help reduce stress, anxiety and depression. I love lifting weights! 💪🏻 ——————————————————————— 2️⃣ Hobbies! When you find a hobby that you enjoy it makes you happy which makes your mental health happy 😃 Don’t be afraid to get out there and test a few things out to find something which you really enjoy. I like going to group classes with loud music 🎶 and everyone supports each other. I like playing different kinds of sports 🥎 I play tennis with my friend (even though I’m not the best 😂 ) but it’s fun and it makes me feel happy! ——————————————————————— 3️⃣ Plans and Goals! Plan your days, whether it is to going for a morning walk by your self, catching up with friends & family, going to get your food shopping in 🛍, or making a list of jobs to get done. When you plan something and you do it, it’s a productive day ✅ and you done what you said you were going to do. It can be as simple as that. It makes the mind happy you achieved what you said you planned to do that day. I’m forever making lists of things I need to get done 😂 I like going out for walks and coffees! ☕️ ——————————————————————— Mental health matters! If your struggling reach out.
