“Find something in front of you and run for it” 🏃♀️ I was doing outside sprints yesterday with @robinnyc from @onepeloton so this was literally meaning “find something ahead of you as your mile-marker.” Today, this means something different. My second *first* bikini show in May was cancelled right after I hit a new low (don’t judge my morning face 🙈- this was taken this morning at 5am for my coach). But it’s not “woe is me,” because we are all having to cancel vacations, cancel events/birthday, family visits, huge work events, maybe even not able to work. EVERYONE is inconvenienced by the current environment. Yes, the future may be uncertain, but my challenge to you is to keep your eyes on a goal that brings you outside this environment.
Personally, I might do a show in June, July or even November 👙 . I might look into getting a certification 🍃 . I might set a financial goal 💴
Next, you need accountability. In order to hold yourself accountable I highly recommend keeping a journal 📓 to keep yourself focused. You could also keep a high level calendar. I highly recommend the journal, @bestselfco . It helped me workout 5x a week, meditate 3x a week, facilitate a class at work, do improv, and so much more. It feels so good to check off a box and to look back at what you’ve done over a certain timeframe.
You will be SO glad you learned a new skill, strengthened a new muscle, or used this time to ACHIEVE something once this is over.
