Anything between 1:1 and 1:5 are good risk reward ratios to use if you want to create a profitable strategy in the market. Anything less than 1:1 is counterintuitive because the added benefit of letting losses run longer will not make up for it in improved win rate, and anything bigger than 1:5 will see a significantly lower win rate and will cloud emotions and judgement after 5-10 losers in a row. Not to mention the account will hurt significantly after many losses in a row. All you need is a good strategy with a solid risk reward and around a 40% win rate. If you work on that you will find consistency.
