The past few weeks have been... tough.
We've visited Urgent Care and the (vet) ER, and scheduled more same-day-please-see-my-kid doctor's appointments in 2020 as we did in 2019 AND 2018 together by a long shot.
It stresses. me. OUT.
But something weird I noticed... despite the fact that my kids have been sick or in pain or needed some kind of immediate doctor, my stress level was lower than it ever was during other seasons of constant sickness. (Not gone, but lower!) What changed!? Well, maybe it's just maturity? But maybe it's also that I know we have the funds to cover these things. I know that we have the money for the RIDICULOUS Urgent Care copay. I know that I can cover the cost of taking a constantly-pooping dog to the puppy ER.
I didnt really plan on posting this today because, honestly, I am feeling very tested in my resolve to stay positive, stay strong, and not slide into crippling fear, worry and anxiety. I wanted to share with you that if you're feeling tested -- if that check engine light popped on, after the school called to pickup you kid who is puking, after your parent called to tell you they're moving halfway across the country -- I'm right there with you.
Sure, having the emergency fund takes away the money stress (which, I'm not kidding, is HUGE), but there are still stressors that are always looking to derail your peace of mind and make you go crazy frantic.
Fight those feelings of the stress taking over your life. Take things one at a time. As they come. It'll be ok.
I dont have all the answers, but you're not alone.❤❤❤ #debtfreeliving #financialfreedom #debtfreejourney #debtfreecommunity #debtfreelife #frugal #frugalliving #savingmoney #money #cash #frugallife #momlife #finance #debtfreelife #truth #aboutme #myview #money #saving #frugallife #budget #budgeting #me #nofilter #selfie #phototoftheday #stress #powerofpositivity
