Naughty little leg sesh I did up for myself today! (Swipe for a few movement demos) After you warmup do the circuit. The point of doing this circuit before squats is to exhaust/fatigue the leg muscles first seeing as most of us don’t have a squat rack or enough plates to go as heavy as we would like to. Doing this circuit first will make a lighter weight feel heavier 👍🏼 OOTH B.SQT = Out Of The Hole Back Squat (I got creative and used my table and box among other things lol) this is for people who don’t have a squat rack and can’t clean the bar up to back rack. If you have a squat rack do normal squats or if you want to clean it to back rack then be my guest. DB RDLs = Dumbbell Romanian Deadlifts Finisher: For Time 100 step ups (Every minute on the minute complete 5 air squats) On a box or bench or whatever you can step up onto (I’m using a 24” box). No time limit just finish it *trick play has entered chat* every minute on the minute you must complete 5 air squats in order to continue your step ups. This means if you’ve done 23 step ups and 1min comes you do 5 air squats and continue, then at 2min say you’ve done 46 step ups, you must do another 5 air squats and continue step ups again and so on and so forth until 100 step ups are completed. 👇REALITY CHECK👇 The past week or two I’ve been super unmotivated, and have been feeling very down because of how unexpected and fast this situation in the world happened. It changed all of our lives, and all of our normal routines. Dont beat yourself up if you’re not as motivated before, and it’s okay if you let yourself go a bit/ indulge in some of your cravings (guilty!) I’ve gained a good couple pounds these first two weeks of quarantine, but it’s time to set a better routine to get back on track! Obviously it’s not going to be the same as before, but we have to work with the current situation in the world. I don’t want to lose everything I’ve worked for! I hope everyone is healthy and keeping their immune systems up🙏

this situation we are in has made me love & truly appreciate the little things in life - laying by the pool in Vegas eating a fruit plate (fruit plate not pictured bc we ate it), running to the store without worry, working out with my people, socializing, groups of people laughing, church, but most of all I miss hugs. God has called us to all slow down (which hasn’t been easy for me) and trust in him. Throughout this situation I have found so many positive things - baking, I love to bake and never have the time to & now I do, home workouts that haven’t been easy for me to like but it’s slowly growing on me, quality time with family which is something everyone needs and loving & helping our neighbors. Stay moving. Go for a walk. Bake something. Spend time with your family. Play uno. Have a dance party in the kitchen. Most likely smiling, dancing, laughing or joking around during my workout. Why? Because it’s fun! Fitness can be fun no matter how crazy I sound. Being a high school athlete I hated the idea of working out after high school. Hated it so much I didn’t do it for 3 years after high school. But when I got over that funk and finally stepped foot in the gym again, I finally felt like I was part of something again. Part of a team. Part of a family! Gym friends are a special kind of friend and I’ve met some pretty great ones. My fitness journey has been one of the greatest things I have done for myself and I’m so thankful for my gym family. Get out there. Start somewhere. Come workout with me! Or don’t. Whatever you want. Might be lots of singing and dancing but I promise it will be an entertaining workout at least? Get active.
