Something I wanted to share on her after seeing many people's stories this weekend & those going through hard times ..This one is for you. It's ok to fail at things not always follow through with your plans but what matters most is when you fall down or fail .you must get back up and keep going .There will be times that you skip the gym , eat something unhealthy , say the wrong things , react negatively, mess up at work, spent money on something you shouldn't have or spent too much time on social media but that is completely ok .Keep working on yourself for you because that's all that truly matters. Growing from old behaviors is difficult so if you fail or mess up ...continue to work at it until you reach your goals . Dont beat yourself up when you dont do things you are supposed to do or fall back into old habits that no longer serve your life..just get back on track at the right time and keep doing your best by not giving up .I believe in you as 2020 is gonna be your year . #trusttheprocess #positivemindset

Self-Care Isn't All Massages and Bubble Baths Self-care is a topic that has been thrown around a lot for the past few years. Don’t get us wrong, at Nova we are all big advocates of self-care! The problem is, self-care is often set aside until we are exhausted and/or ill, and we are using these tactics as an escape – an hour away from our life. While massages and bubble baths definitely make us feel better in the moment, we are still left with the root causes as to why we’re feeling the way we are feeling. What if you looked at self-care in a different way? Instead of doing one-off things that make you feel good temporarily, think about what you can do on an ongoing basis and how you can build positive habits to care for yourself. Doing this would mean that sometimes self-care looks like: - Grocery shopping so you can meal prep for the week Saying no to that late night out, or saying yes to more me-time - Skipping a night of Netflix for flexibility training Making it a habit to walk on your lunch hour - Going to bed an hour earlier or waking up an hour earlier Ultimately, self-care is going to look different for each person but it all boils down to putting in the effort to ensure you don’t hit that point of exhaustion where you’re looking for an escape. 🚨CLIENT UPDATE🚨 ⁣ ⁣ Special shoutout to @esmannymotivation out of Jacksonville FL on this crazy transformation in just 8 weeks!⁣ ⁣ Manny came to me in hopes of cutting body fat in his midsection, to establish a healthy lifestyle, and get ready for his upcoming season as senior in his college baseball career! ⁣ ⁣ Before joining the Itsyacoach Fitness Team Manny felt like he was always in the gym but not seeing the results he was looking for ⁣ ⁣ He also turned to different restrictive diets here and there but never felt like they were sustainable especially after he found himself craving junk food more than ever ⁣ ⁣ I told him about my flexible dieting approach and explained to him that I found a way to lose fat without feeling like you’re on a restrictive diet and he was on board!⁣ ⁣ He also has an extremely busy and unpredictable work schedule so I gave him a workout plan that has him in the gym 3-4 days a week. ⁣ ⁣ This was a huge plus for him as it allowed him to establish a great work, life, school balance. Ganz einfach, du musst dir erstmal vor Augen führen, was dein Ziel ist, wie oft kannst du ins Gym gehen und was ist dein Fokus? Attended an amazing Recovery brunch at @bia.force yesterday, hosted by some super cool wellness brands: @tryrcvr, @findmyformula, @theragun, @primalkitchenfoods, @vaeske.nyc, @soulrecoverynyc 🤩. — The event included cbd massages, local Cryo, compression, infrared saunas, lots of healthy food & drinks, and a dreamy 10 minute meditation led by @cattyiu. ☁️ I left feeling super relaxed & recharged ⚡️that best kind of Sunday feelings, right?! 🙏🏼. — The @bia.force space is BEAUTIFUL!!! I learned that it was designed by @roynachum and modeled after the tunnels under Jerusalem. By far the nicest studio I’ve seen in NYC. 😍 (Watch my stories for a little tour). Their concept is a tri-element workout (cycling / resistance bands / boxing) which I am taking tomorrow morning.. so stay tuned for a full report of my workout experience. 💪🏼📷 @lolostep

What the heck does monostructural even mean?!⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ It's cardio right?? Running, biking, rowing??⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Well not necessarily.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Cardio refers to an energy system (aerobic for the nerds out there). Grouping an entire class of exercises as "cardio" is misleading.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ If you did 5 air squats every minute on the minute for 30 minutes, you would be using your aerobic energy system, so that's cardio right?⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ If you did a 15-second sprint on a rower, you would not be (primarily) using your aerobic energy system...⁣ ⁣ So not cardio?⁣⁣ 🤷‍♂️⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ You can see where terminology starts to matter.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ So why use the term monostructural? Well honestly, I don't think the term makes much sense... but that's a separate conversation. I have changed alot as a person, my thoughts, the way I am, the way I love, the way I care, the way I think, My priorities in life, goals and dreams and alot of new faces came in to my life and many old faces are just gone. Many mistakes has ben done 2018- 2019, alot of tears, hardtimes, alot of pain, sleepless nights, alot of missingfeelings to peopole who ment everything to my life and were my biggest love. Today I can say that I'm a new person with new vision and new dreams. I may be heartbroken and still living in alot of pain and tears but everything will be Allright this year. Love will found it way to my heart again, if it ment to be than it will be! Hope to everyone a happy new year, take care of each other, love each other, give chanses to each other, take risks, never let go, protect ur love and your love ones, have a good communication with each other and always work hard to solve ur problems and not just give up or throw them away.
