🤩GET UNCOMFORTABLE 🤩 My mantra going into the coming week is this- just because I struggle doesn’t mean I have to give in. See the struggle as a CHALLENGE 🏁 which overcoming it will be a WIN🏆 - - 🌿 🐔 BLACKENED ROSEMARY BALSAMIC CHICKEN BREAST 🐔 🌿 - - Blackening this chicken made me very uncomfortable. But tasting the win was awesome. Here we go: - - 🍽1:1 ratio of balsamic vinegar to olive oil (recommend about 1/4 cup for 8 pieces of chicken breast) - - 🍴Chopped rosemary - - 🥄Mix olive oil, vinegar and rosemary together - - 🥣Massage marinade it into the chicken for 5 min - - ⏰ Let sit for 20 min to a few hours - - 🍳Heat a skillet and add olive oil. Once the oil crackles place the chicken SMOOTH SIDE DOWN SIDE WITH RIDGES UP! - - 🍗Let it blacken for 1-3 min then flip and let it blacken 1-2 min - - 🍳Flip chicken again, lower heat and cook each side for an additional 5 min each. - - 🍝Remove from heat and add to salad, spaghetti, potatos, gnocchis... you name it. Thank God for the amazing man in my life ❤️ Going for a run was the last thing I wanted to do today. In fact I even said screw it and was just not into it at all. Jon talked me into it and encouraged me and reminded me of my goals and how I would probably feel later if I didn’t do it. So after complaining I got my ass in gear and got on the treadmill, and I’m so glad I did! I definitely needed it and I felt much better afterwards. And he is right, I know 100% I would have been down on myself later and seriously regretted not doing it. Even a shitty workout is better than nothing at all! Today was definitely not shitty though. What do I mean? You know that feeling that you get, immediately before you do something that you never done before but right before you agree to do it, you tell yourself “f**k it”? That feeling! I think we should chase those fuck it moments. Most likely, it’s an action that your body hasn’t got use to and usually, those actions are the things we need to do more of. Example: When yo ass suppose to go to the gym at 7pm and when 6:50pm hit, you debating with yourself if you should go or not. All of sudden, all these dam excuses pop into your head about you having to cook tonight, it’s too cold outside, I worked out yesterday or you’d have to stop to get gas. All those potential obstacles hit your mind but you went to the gym anyway. Before you decided to go, you probably said to yourself, FUCK IT! Chase those moments, it will lead you in the right direction.

Make fitness FUN! 🥳 That’s my goal with fitness this year. 😬 My goals and priorities with fitness have changed so much over the years. From jogging to competitive running to focusing on strength training and everything else in between... I like to set goals, train with purpose and work towards something. 👊🏼 This is great but for a perfectionist like me with a competitive and obsessive spirit, it can be quite disastrous. 🤪 I put huge amounts of unnecessary pressure and expectations on myself. 🤭 Not returning to competitive sport was one of the best things I did for myself. ❤️ I miss it A LOT! But I’m also at a much better place mentally. 😌 I always say athletes have one of the strongest minds. 🧠 #truth This whole experience of being in competitive sport, getting out of it, coaching other people and dealing with day to day clients @nutritiontrack has given me a lot of perspectives on fitness, nutrition and health! ☺️ For now, I’m happy to help other people work towards their athletic ambitions while I have fun with fitness. ✌🏼 NOT taking anything too seriously is a HUGE challenge for me. Classic hip thrusts today!!! Had an amazing glutes & hamstring workout today! Did some hip thrusts as pictured, RDLs, wide stance squats, a few cable exercises and topped it all off with calves. Feeling good, strong, and motivated. I'm about to experience the next 3 busiest weeks of my life with classes, two jobs and sorority recruitment, while hoping I can still get a workout in. Busca tu pareja y sígueme!💪🏻 ¡Comparte este video con tus amigos! . 1.- Este es un ejercicio fuerte, la persona que está arriba se tiene que poner firme y con las rodillas semiflexionadas y la espalda recta, jalar bien , el ejercicio te fortalece la espalda y los brazos. La persona que está echada fortalece abdominales, brazos y piernas. Inténtalo te divertirás 2.-Fortaleces con este ejercicio abdominales oblicuos y hombros, lo hicimos con una piedra pero tú hazlo con una pelota o algo que no sea peligroso. 3.-Prensa humana y sentadilla, este súper ejercicio fortalecerá a ambas las piernas y glúteos en diferente posición, diviértete entrenando💪🏻 4.-Sentadillas y bíceps, fortalece ambos músculos juntos, puedes hacerlo con una pelota o pesas. I am currently “bulking” putting on as much muscle (and fat) as I can to get up to about 145lbs or more before I cut!! This is my first ever bulk and I have gone through phases within my head where I'm constantly at war with myself and my body. One day I love my body and I'm feeling super strong and motivated and other days I just feel like a fat lump, feel really sluggish and just can't be asked to train. I am eating more foods, training harder and inevitably putting fats 😤 This fat gain is really demotivating and made me felt like I've lost my gains and thinking like all my hard work isnt paying off because I dont look great anymore. Imagine, working your butt off taking all the right steps, only to see some fat piling on over time. . . There are so many times where I contemplated bulking and resort to the easy option, cutting, because I was uncomfortable with my skin anymore. But if there is one thing I have learnt from this bulk its NOT TO GIVE UP!! If you follow through with the process, over come the hard days, push through the hard sessions, and continue to bulk, results will show, your body will grow and you will see the improvements on your lifts overtime as you put on weight. And I think thats a great sign your'e building muscle. So instead of using my physique as a unit of measurement, I turn to the weights being lifted. . . Just as the program (@thelazylifter ) says, gaining some fats during bulk is all part of the process and its COMPLETELY normal. And when you eventually cut, you will look amazing again. Although the bulking process doesnt provide instant results, when you do cut down the extra body fat gained, the extra muscle mass will be exposed and you will then be confronted with your own hardwork. . . Nobody else's but yourself ♥️. . . P.S Just posting this for extra accountability. And I hope this can help out some, who are contemplating on bulking ( just like me before). Thank you always @pobrengparabuhat and coach @chorgasmic for all the bulking tips and the motivation that I needed. . . Happy Holidays everyone! 🎅🏻🎄
