Make sure you’re taking care of your whole self, not just your visible self during this time. I’m loving the abundance of home workouts that are being shared, and although I’m also still working out from home, I can’t help but feel slightly anxious about everything that is going on and the drastic lifestyle changes that have come with it.⁣ ⁣ So, for anyone else that feels the same way here’s a few recommendations on what I’ve been doing to stay mindful and calm:⁣ ⁣ ▫️Checking in with myself daily and acknowledging any negative feelings and getting to the root of the cause ⁣ ⁣ ▫️Doing yoga stretches while watching TV, otherwise I find the time just passes by and I haven’t moved my body ⁣ ⁣ ▫️I’ve been following guided sleep meditation on the app Headspace to help me unwind in the evening⁣ ⁣ ▫️Limiting my time watching the news / on social media. I’m still staying informed but limiting my time and reading a book or going for a walk instead⁣ ⁣ ▫️Remembering we only have control over our mind, not outside events. Okay but this workout defiantly destroyed my abs!!💪Believe it or not my eyes are squinting in the first picture because I was mid sneeze👀 (as nice as the weather is outside it’s not good for the allergy’s!)🌺 As you can tell I filmed the workout outside and in my room. even with a mat the concrete was killing my back so decided to finish off inside!!1️⃣Plank 2️⃣Ankle taps 3️⃣Leg raises 4️⃣alternating single leg crunch 5️⃣dead bugs 6️⃣mountain climbers I did each exercise for 40 seconds with 20 seconds rest in between. another no equipment ab circuit for ya to start off your week🔥 - *if you don’t have some type of bar for the first exercise, i’d recommend using the top of a door (not ideal but it works) or something you can hold onto (i could do this with my deck for example), but if there’s not much available you can still do this on the floor but straighten your legs out & twist as you come up instead‼️ - it seems this is the most popular type of workout atm so getting some more here for you guys!! i’ve said this before but i really only isolate abs once a week or so which is why there’s (maybe) only about 1 posted a week. be sure to save so i know what workouts you like seeing!!❤️ - even though it probably doesn’t feel like the start of a new week (i think we can all agree it keeps either feeling like sunday or we’ve just lost track of days) we can still make the best of our days in the week & find ways to be productive, even if it’s just going for a walk, getting dressed, meal prep, anything😊 - my free 4 week home workout guide is available through the link in my bio!! 40 exercises total! going to work on one with minimal equipment too😊 - my booty building program is officially available!! check my story highlights under “training” for more info on it & shoot me a message if you’re interested🍑 - #gymshark #gymsharkwomen #gymsharktrain #mentalhealth #gym #strength #train #bodypositivity #homeworkout #abworkout #homeabs

🌠 Make the best of it 🌠 Yes,sitting at home sucks. I live alone and i have no one to talk to apart from my plants 🌱 I don't sleep well right now and I am unhappy cause i don't get my steps in. I could contemplate all day and eat tons of icecream- but you know what? Try to flip the coin and see things positive. I know that I have a pretty good life and that others aren't that lucky: i have a big flat with a balcony, I still have a job and can work from home; I won't lose my job if I'm sick and I'm lucky to live in a country, where the danger was taken seriously from the beginning. And the most important thing: I'm fit and my family & friends as well 🙏 And as a long as I am healthy, I will continue my homeworkouts with my #sweatapp & cook healthy, using my time at home wisley to get stuff done -> cause I don't wanna leave this lockdown 5kg heavier, unfit and with the knowledge that I wasted time,doing nothing than watching tv and eating 🍦 How are you guys coping? Resistance Band workout you can do anywhere 😎 SAVE & give it a go! No excuses! Let’s keep it moving 🥰 • No longer looking super trimmed as I have put on about 2kg but not too worry!! This lockdown and how things have gone have been such a shock for me, I seriously needed time to adjust to the new ‘routine’. Day 1 of training done ✅ Slowly getting back on track, once i am in a good workout routine I will slowly reduce my snacking! I have already reduced it by 50% so slowly getting there 🙃 I think it’s taken me time to realise that we might not be back in the gym for a couple of months meaning I cannot be off track for that long! 🐖 😆 • I went for a run today! Happy Monday #mondaymotivation ✨ ______________________________________________ On some days it seems hard to get up and workout. After all, it is much more comfortable to relax and do something else. However, in order to achieve our goals, we should overcome our comfort zone and get our butts up. Since it is not always easy, here are some carefully selected tips and tricks that always work well for me: 1️⃣ Do not think to long about it, just do it ✔️ . 2️⃣ Set your goals 💯 . 3️⃣ Go straight to the studio without detours🔜 - and as a quarantine version: put your workout clothes on and just do it . 4️⃣ Get fit together🏋🏽‍♀️🏋🏽‍♂️ . 5️⃣ Always keep the fun🤪 . By far the most important point: HAVE FUN! It will not help you if you do something out of compulsion. Choose a sport that suits you and you like it. Something that challenges you and brings you closer to your goals. Otherwise the motivation will sooner or later flute anyway .. WORK WITH WHAT YA MUMMA GAVE YA 🍑🍑 okay okay, so who said a home workout isn't as good as a gym one? Apart from all the people around you, damn body combat is kicking my ass online, I might be doing old releases as I haven't done them in ages but I am LOVING them! 400+ calories burnt, I'm just going to be happy if I don't loose my muscle mass in my entire body, pls & thx u. some thoughts from @sophie_aris... 💜 Yesterday I felt a weird sense of calm.... In the midst of all this worry and unease in the world, it was pretty odd. The thing is, all of a sudden we’ve been made to adapt how we live our lives. Many of us are also spending 99% of our time alone, not seeing another soul. Yesterday I spent a while reading a book, went on a gorgeous walk for my daily dose of green, spent far too many hours removing the gel from my nails, did some journaling, had a long bath with a hot chocolate... Now granted it was a Sunday- but even at the weekend before this started, I usually made an excuse to keep ‘busy’ bobbing around. I’m finding now I’m really focusing on each task/activity I’m doing, I suppose living in the moment more. Just being less caught up with it taking ‘time’. I think what I’m trying to say is something that is bonding us together, is that we are all in the same boat. We have to ‘stay home’. There’s no fomo - no ones on an ‘amazing’ holiday, having a wild girly Saturday night out, or off for a yummy brunch.... I don’t know about you but I’m almost feeling like having LESS options is making me feel more grateful. I hope at the end of all this we can learn something about the pace of life- valuing the things we often take for granted. I struggle to end these kind of captions of my brain dump! 💓 Hello!! So I have no plans of being active today other than moving from my bed to my couch. I’m feeling quite tired today but instead of feeling melancholy about it I’m going to just appreciate the calm nothing. I feel since the self-isolation started it’s been hard for me to do nothing. I feel that being stuck at home all day pushes me to be more productive (somehow) and I’ve kinda been trying to make myself busy instead of being grateful for this break from life. Also don’t that that the wrong way, I’m not grateful for the virus, I’m grateful for the break from school and work and life. My mental health has been so good recently because all the stressful stuff is at a forced hailey right now. So yeah pretty much I’m going to enjoy my day of doing nothing and I hope y’all enjoy your day whether it involves activities or not!! 🥰😅

ngl to you this home workout stuff is kinda getting me down and I wish I was back at the gym as you can see other people around you smashing it and it makes you put more work in 💪🏻 🌼 I've decided my goals for being at is pretty much maintaining where I am, as I need weights to get what I want result wise and as I'm at home I can't do it how I'd like. So until the gyms are back open body weight is all I have. Also would like to sculpt my abs more whilst doing so! How is everyone coping without going to the gym?
