Take Care Of What Takes Care Of You :) @cabocaboca Every month I clean my machine to get rid of calcium build up. The machine is always running and every now and then it spills water so it doesn’t stay stuck and build up calcium quicker. I am supposed to do it every 2 weeks but with the prefilter I can afford to do it every month and it will run fine. These machines are designed to last. Some people have had theirs for 45+ years !!! So since the company came out. Imagine how much money they have saved. Why does it not break ? Because there are no moving parts inside the machine. So it could technically last forever. After all those years the machine still worked just as fine as when bought brand new, and the mlv was hitting the same numbers. My dad thinks I’m crazy for buying this but he doesn’t understand the value of it. I am now a business owner. I have been using these little containers for over 2 years now. Why? Because they keep me FEELING good! Yes, they keep me on track with my goal of being the healthiest and happiest I can be, but really the root of it is that my body FEELS good when I use them! I have so much more energy, and I enjoy eating the approved foods! It's easy, I don't have to do any counting, the math is already done! I love this program so much because there are no food groups I CAN'T have, and I am ALWAYS full. Do you like feeling well, but haven't figured out how to feel that way on a regular basis? It was April of 2016 and someone I had seen online had strongly suggested that if there was one personal development book to read, it was this one right here: The Slight Edge. They promised “It would change the trajectory of your life and career”.⁣ ⁣ So, what did I do?? Immediately order it on Amazon (of course)!!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But here is my confession: While I am absolutely in LOVE with all things books (book stores, libraries, buying books, looking at books, strolling through the book aisles at Costco, going to story time at the library) and I LOVE reading to my kiddos, my follow through at actually reading books for me is embarrassingly horrible. I have soooo many books to read and (in my mind) so little time during my day where I get an opportunity to sit down peacefully and read them. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So, this poor book sat on my bookshelf, unopened and untouched, since 2016. I had forgotten all about it. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Fast-forward 4 years and my coach told me this month how vital it is to do personal development each day. Even if it’s just 10-20 minutes a day. And what book did she first recommend?? What book did she say was an absolute game changer for her and “THE principle that will bring you success”?? The book that just so happened to be sitting on my bookshelf. 😬⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Now I am half-way through the book and the joke is definitely on me! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I should have read this back in 2016. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ll say more once I’ve finished, but in the meantime, if you haven’t read this book (or you don’t already have it on your bookshelf), I encourage you to read it!⁣ ⁣ What personal development book was your “game changer”?
