You're not going to give up without a fight.
Because when things are safe, when things are good, when you're feeling comfy and content, you stop pushing, you stop working for it; you stop fighting for your little patch.
And then something comes along and puts everything you've worked for at risk.
So what do most people do? They run. They hide.
Most people use the forces working against them as an excuse to give up - some terrible gift that's come along that allows them to quit what they're doing without losing face (after all, it's not my fault this didn't work out, it was the economy, the team, the customers, the government, I could go on?). But for those of us who are looking at the big picture, for those of us who know that this is only a season that will pass - this too shall pass - we've got no choice but to keep going.
So being scrappy means working with what you've got.
Being scrappy means pushing onward, step by step, even when it doesn't look like it will work out.
Being scrappy means that you get more direct than you're used to, more bold than your comfort zone, a more nasty than you've had to be in the past.
Because being scrappy means that you've a better shot to get through this and come out the other side stronger than you went it.
Scrappy people fight.
Scrappy people make themselves proud.
And scrappy people don't stop.
Because being scrappy means that you've got a better shot to get through this and come out the other side stronger than you went it. in the past.
