It’s been a whole week since I started the #KetoDiet and I can’t believe how easy it’s been! 😁⠀ ⠀ With previous diets I craved foods and because I could be somewhat lenient (as long as it fitted into my daily calorie allowance) I treated myself to whatever I could have. 🇫🇷 Habituellement je ne cuisine pas de viande rouge , pas très fan . Quelle surprise , c’est un bouillon avec du jarret de bœuf et des légumes . I started my keto journey August 2018 weighing in at 205 pounds. I have always been relatively thin but college, anxiety and depression caught up with me. I have lost 55 pounds with just diet! Habt ihr schon mal Kumquats probiert?. Da man in der keto Ernährung ja größtenteils auf Früchte verzichtet, muss man eben erfinderisch werden. Da eignen sich #Kumquats mit 14.6g KH auf 100g hervorragend. Eine Frucht hat ca 20g. Zum Kaffee nach der Arbeit gibts dann auf dem Balkon bei Sonnenschein einen leckeren Mandel/Kumquat-Keks!. Rezept: 3 Kumquats 70g gem Mandeln 40g Butter 40g Xucker Etwas Vanille nach Belieben Mandeln, Butter, Xucker und Vanille zu einem Teig verarbeiten und erstmal 30min in den Kühlschrank stellen. In der Zeit die Kumquats warm abwaschen und in Scheiben schneiden. Anschließend aus dem Teig kleine Kugeln formen, auf dem Backpapier verteilen und mit den Früchten bestücken. ¿Cómo les quedó la última receta que les compartimos el viernes? La compartieron con el #QuedateEnCasaConAluSweet ? Aquí les mostramos una receta muy sencilla que pueden hacer para ese antojo de algo rico y sin tantas calorías. Bolas de Zanahoria Ingredientes: 🥄300 g de zanahoria cocida y escurrida (hay que escurrirla, porque el peso cambia) 🥄150 g de AluSweet 🥄300 g de coco rallado (reservamos unos 50 gr. para rebozar) 🥄Moldes de magdalenas 1. Pongan a cocer la zanahoria pelada y cuando esté tierna, la escurren con un tenedor y dejan que se enfríe. 2. Pongan la zanahoria escurrida en un mortero y la machacan. Añadan #AluSweet y coco (250 gr.) hasta obtener una masa. 3. Formen unas bolitas con las manos, ni muy pequeñas ni muy grandes, y las rebozan en coco rallado colocándolas luego en los moldes de magdalenas. 4. Por último, la dejan enfriando en el refrigerador. 2020-04-06 Late night experiment Midnight snack . Saw a posting by @hafiz.keto.journey on FB with a pix of Onsen Tamago . Just couldn't resist to try making one tonight. Well, the result was not perfect but I am quite satisfied with my first try. . To keep the tare(sauce) keto compliant, I did a slight modification since I don't have the "traditional" ingredients, mirin and bonito flakes for the dashi. So, I improvised... . 1 teaspoon tamari, 1 teaspoon water, 1 teaspoon rice vinegar, a dash of fish sauce (to add the fishy, dashi taste) and 1 teaspoon erythtritol. . ➡️TORTA 4C SOFFICISSIMA ⠀ La carica del Caffè ☕ , l'energia del Cioccolato 🍫 ... e??? Cocco 🥥 vellutato e Cannella 🧡 che stuzzica il palato 😁😋 ⠀ Una torta sofficissima con sopra una fantastica glassa golosa 😋 Quindi per voi oggi doppia ✌ ricetta ⠀ Per la torta ➡️10 gr di farina di mandorle ➡️10 gr di farina di cocco ➡️5 gr di cacao amaro in polvere ➡️15 gr di eritritolo ➡️4 gr di lievito in polvere ➡️1 uovo ➡️30 gr di latte di cocco full fat ➡️30 gr di caffè della moka alla cannella ➡️cannella in polvere q.b. ●Mescolare bene tutto e versare in una teglia da 10 cm leggermente unta con olio di cocco. Cuocere in forno a 180° per circa 20 minuti. ⠀ Per la glassa ➡️10 gr di cacao amaro in polvere ➡️10 gr di burro di cocco (non olio) ➡️10 gr di eritritolo ➡️10 gr di latte di cocco full fat ➡️3 gr di caffè solubile ➡️cannella q.b. ➡️15 gr di acqua calda ●In una ciotola sciogliere con l'acqua tiepida il caffè solubile con l'eritritolo e il burro di cocco . Aggiungere i restanti ingredienti e girare con una frusta per alcuni minuti finché la glassa raffredderà e prenderà consistenza. Made one of our fav meals on the weekend and can’t believe I hadn’t done it in a while! Zucchini noodles (I buy mine pre-noodled because I don’t have patience to do them myself), a jar of arrabiata sauce (used the @preschoice black label one - good and spicy), with sautéed garlic shrimp. Throw on a little (or a lot) of Parmesan for good measure. It tasted delicious, and takes all of 10 minutes to throw together. Yum! What are y’all having tonight? I’m thinking either salmon or scallops.

#mondaymotivation coming your way... have you ever heard the phrase “your scars make your stronger”? . This picture was taken a year ago when I finished my first workout back after my seizure & concussion. My recovery was not linear or simple or quick by any means. It was the most severe injury I’ve ever faced physically, mentally, and emotionally and it took a long time to get back to where I am today. Finally, I was finally able to return to physical activity and the sport I love. ⚽️ . I hated every moment of being injured, but I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. It made me appreciate my health more than ever and truly cherish the capabilities of my mind and body. I also felt immense gratitude to my support system, the people who helped me recover and heal. [That’s why despite the pain, your darkest moments can lead to incredible growth and revival.]🔙🔛🔝 . A year later and I still have my scars. Next year, they’ll still be there. I’m sure that you have some scars too. You probably have felt hopeless, lost and adrift after a serious life event. I bet you’ve had adversity and battles that have left a mark. The imprint might even sting a little when you look back on it all. But I also believe you’re more equipped to take on new challenges. I bet the lessons you learned made you a better version of yourself. You learned from the lessons and have risen above to be the warrior you are today. .
