Guess what... I’m human too. 😬 Over the weekend out of boredom and stress I guess... I ate like crappp. I had chic fila one day, pizza rolls twice this weekend, grilled ham and cheese, random snacks, wine, etc. Things I normally wouldn’t eat (well besides chic & wine 😜) And let me tell ya, I’ve felt super bloated, sluggish and blah!! Can I see my abs today? Nope 😬 but that’s ok. Bc I know that it doesn’t mean I’ve lost all of my progress. (Aunt Flow isn’t helping either ladies!) 😩
But... the difference between Brittany now and Brittany 2 years ago, is that Brittany would continue binge eating bc “well I already ate like crap, doesn’t matter now.” That Brittany would also skip her workout because she ate bad so it’s not gonna help anyway, right?! 🤷🏻♀️
Whereas Brittany today, knows that “okay- I ate like shit for a day and a half, so what?” Move on to the next day where I continue my workouts and eat healthier the next day.
My point is one bad day isn’t going to ruin all of your progress. Now, many bad days in a row will. So if you’re at a point where your diet hasn’t been good or you skipped a workout.. SO WHAT! Life happens. Don’t let one bad day drag you off this healthy path.
Eat healthier more than you eat like crap, Workout more than you don’t and everything will be okay! This is a journey girlfriend!
Also, ladies- that time of the month makes a difference!! Bloating, cramps, fatigue- all of things... play a role. Don’t let that make you feel like what you’re doing isn’t working. Just take it for what it is and keep pushing. 👌🏼
