🤯 My biggest pet peeve with home workouts... .
Scroll through IG for 30 seconds and you’ll undoubtedly see at least 5 home workouts. WHICH IS GREAT. Get those endorphins going and get your body moving. .
The problem for me is that many of the workouts rely on HIIT style training. That works for some people, but I would venture to say that most people are not used to training that way. Personally, HIIT style workouts are not my favorite and can lead to poor form and not targeting the desired muscle group. .
SO, I encourage everyone to S L O W. D O W N their movements. Actually feel the exercise where it’s intended to work. Even if your equipment is limited to a single dumbbell, you can get shit done. .
HIIT workouts aren’t bad. They’re great at getting a lot done in a short period of time. But since most of us have nothing but time, learn about other options and maximize what you have.
