I've been a bit quiet here because I've been busy, and I've always been firm that Insta will be the first thing to give when life gets busy! I've also been contemplative in this strange new world of ours...
Natural disasters, tragedy, conflict, terror, racism, homophobia - all impact one group, or a relatively small group of people in the context of the whole world's population. This pandemic, however, by its very nature impacts - directly or indirectly - everyone. Literally, the entire globe 🌎
I'm also debating how to be sensitive. Some people are sharing their new reality - the good, bad and ugly (valid and important)- whilst others are speaking out about being swamped with negativity (mentally hard for many to cope with, and that's valid and important). Some praise what our government in Australia has done (who knows how anyone else would be leading during this time?), whilst others are piling on (sure, we can all acknowledge missteps). Some are following social distancing directives (good), others are not (sigh). Anyway, it's a minefield. And it's exhausting. So I haven't really been weighing in or engaging (been busy, but also the whole exhausting thing). The memes have been epic, but otherwise, I don't have time to explain every word I post on the topic (I think many underestimate the amount of DMs you get following a post or story...). So I'm going to focus on "regular" programming. For me that's food, organisation, life, mum stuff, minimalism and money.
If there's anything in the above you'd like to hear about from me, please let me know in the comments.
These are crazy times, but if everyone remains kind, we will all make it through stronger on the other side 😘
