Anyone else ALWAYS order lettuce wraps at Chinese restaurants? 🙋🏼‍♀️ Here is a super quick and healthy lettuce wrap recipe for all of us stuck at home craving Chinese food: • INGREDIENTS 1 lb ground turkey 2 gloves garlic 1 small onion 1 tbs olive oil 1/4 cup hoisin sauce 2 tbs soy sauce 1/2 tsp fresh ginger 1 cup cooked rice 3 green onions 1 head lettuce • TO MAKE Cook and crumble ground turkey in oil, drain fat and set aside. Add minced garlic and onion to pan and cook on low for a few minutes until tender. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, grated ginger, and turkey. Cook for several more minutes, stirring constantly. Add green onions and serve on clean lettuce leaves. Will be on your table in 30 minutes or less. Enjoy! #glutenfree #keto #healthyrecipe

Happy Thursday!! Well it's another cold rainy/snowy day after such a nice warm day yesterday haha. Funny how Colorado is like that 😜 I had a pretty nice cozy morning at home, I made myself an adaptogenic latte to get me going for the day and was able to get a fun Zumba workout in since one of the instructors at my gym is doing online classes 🤗 I've missed it so much but have been so busy with moving and the new place this last week I haven't had much time to do other workouts. After Zumba I did some yoga to stretch it out and made this delicious paleo breakfast hash 😍😍😍 This dish is one of my favorite post workout meals! I like to cook a couple pieces of pasture raised bacon in my cast iron skillet, then once they are cooked I take then out of the skillet and cook in the bacon grease: chopped kale, green onion, zuchinni, brussels, roasted sweet potatoes, and some @applegate chicken and sage sausage 👌 So GOOD!! Paleo Chocolate Avocado Pudding You'd never know it was avocado! Gluten-free, Dairy-free, and Paleo-friendly! INGREDIENTS • 1 small ripe avocado • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract • 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp (depending on how sweet you prefer) raw honey, or 100% real maple syrup for Paleo Vegan • 1/4 cup coconut cream • 1/2 cup of water if needed to blend smoother INSTRUCTIONS Put all ingredients in the food processor or blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Stir in between if needed. Pq aqui esses dragõezinhos não dão trégua. Biscoitinho de polvilho na air fryer. Mega fácil. Não deu pra tirar foto deles prontos pq comeram tudo 🤭. 👩🏻‍🍳RECEITA👨🏻‍🍳 ➡️1 caixa de creme de leite (ten que ser de caixinha, não pode ser de lata) ➡️Usa a caixinha do creme de leite e mede 2 e 1/2 de polvilho azedo (acho que pode ser o doce ou misturado tb) ➡️50g de parmesão ralado ➡️1 ovo ➡️1 col de chá de sal Mistura tudo, faz cobrinha e coloca na air fryer 180C por 15 min. Going semi bananas over here so I thought making banana bread could solve things? . Made sense in the moment. 🤷🏻‍♀️ . I wanted to whip up a quick paleo friendly banana bread with minimal ingredients and I found this recipe from @paleorunningmomma and it was perfect! I had all the ingredients in my fridge/pantry and it turned out so good. . If you are looking for a healthy banana bread alternative I highly recommend this recipe, there’s actually no added sugars in this guy aside from the bananas! 👏🏼 . Anyways I’ve been loving warming it up with some @kushaghee or almond butter. YUM. . What’s been helping you stay sane during these crazy times??

Cauliflower and hemp can be turned into almost anything. @evohemp cauliflower “oats” infused with CBD by @marksdailyapple. Ingredients: • 2.5 c frozen riced cauliflower • 1/2 c + 2 tbsp coconut milk • 1/2 c water • 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds • 1/2 tbsp almond butter • 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1.5 tbsp @evohemp hearts + CBD • 2 scoops vanilla coconut collagen *optional • 1/2 c raspberries • toppings: maple syrup, @evohemp hearts . Instructions: - combine cauliflower, coconut milk, water, flaxseeds in a pot on medium heat - once it bubbles, add almond butter and stir - reduce the heat to medium low and cover pot for 5 minutes, stir occasionally - take half of the pumpkin seeds, pulse in a grinder - pour pumpkin seeds in pot, stir, cover for 2-3 minutes - add collagen, sweeteners, @evohemp hearts and stir - pour the “oats” into a glass or bowl and add toppings

Le gras c’est la vie !!!!🥑 . Pendant les dernières décennies, les graisses sont devenues l’ennemi juré numéro 1 de tout le corps médical et de tous ceux qui souhaitent perdre du poids. Aujourd'hui des études montrent le contraire. - Les lipides sont des nutriments essentiels au fonctionnement de l’organisme. Ils participent aux transports des vitamines liposolubles, au système hormonal, transit. - On parle souvent de bonnes (insaturées) et de mauvaises (saturées) graisses. - Les acides gras saturés:nécessaire mais sans excès 🍳 Ils sont apportés essentiellement par des produits d’origine animale (viande,charcuterie, graisses animales, produits laitiers) et certains végétaux (huile de coco, huile de palme ou coprah). What we are eating is SO IMPORTANT in building up a defense against any type of illness. So please PLEASE think about what you’re putting into your body, ESPECIALLY in these times. By now, if you have been following the #Coronavirus pathophysiology closely, you would be aware, that #COVID-19 virus, like SARS, enters the human cells through the ACE-2 receptor. It's a perfect fit with it, in fact. By now, you should also have heard about the startling fact that 98% of the people dying have very specific comorbidities, like Diabetes, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Kidney Disease. So, what's the connection? The main role of ACE2 is to degrade ANG II to ANG (1-7). ANG II enzyme promotes inflammation, oxidative stress & endothelial disfunction in the body. Whereas ANG (1-7) is anti inflammatory and anti oxidative. So, highly expressed ACE2 happens in cells when the body needs to put out a fire and mitigate an inflamed body. So, a person suffering from heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, etc., by definition is in a diseased, inflammatory state. Hence, the ACE-2 receptors in their body will be highly expressed to fight the chronic inflammation. But, the SARS-COV-2 VIRUSE loves highly expressed ACE2 receptors (in the lungs) because that's their preferred docking station! So, THERE you have it! People suffering from metabolic diseases, have more readily available ACE2 receptors for the virus to latch on to, enter cells, and rapidly replicate, inundating the immune system. Consequently, death of 98% of people with these comorbidities! Cinnamon Blueberry Waffles ✨😍 Topped with almond butter & honey - oh yes!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . . I waited till pretty late today to eat, and this was totally worth it! The best meal of my day and the best post workout fuel! It was pretty easy to make in my little waffle maker and so tasty. Do you know how sad it was when my first batch was knocked entirely on the floor?! But the second batch was that much better! Ready for the recipe 😏 🤤 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ R E C I P E ✨ - 1 scoop vanilla protein powder - 1 egg - About 1/4 cup nut milk, can vary due to protein powder. Having a thick liquidy consistency is best! - 1 tbsp coconut flour - Sprinkle of cinnamon - 1 tbsp maple syrup - Handful of blueberries ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That’s it! Mix your ingredients all together the pour it in your waffle maker, wait for it to be ready, and continue until you’re out of batter. I covered mine in almond butter, honey & cinnamon and holy moly!! So good! Enjoy ‘em!

PALEO CINNAMON SUGAR DONUTS 🍩 The shape and texture of these were spot on!! Grain/gluten free, keto friendly, dairy free, and naturally sweetened👌 #Recipe below Dry ingredients:
1 cup almond flour 3 tbsp coconut flour 2 tbsp tapioca flour 1/2 tsp baking soda Wet ingredients: 3 eggs 1/3 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted and cooled Instructions: 1) Prepare a ziploc bag with organic cane sugar and cinnamon. Preheat oven to 350F. 2) In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients. 3) In a medium bowl, mix wet ingredients. 4) Pour wet mixture over the dry and combine well. 5) Fill donut pan with batter without covering the center piece (do not overfill). 6) Bake at 350F for 15-16 minutes. 7) Remove and let cool slightly. 8) While they are still warm, toss donuts individually in the ziploc bag. Enjoy! Makes 6 delicious donuts 😋
