One pan meal! Ribeye and sautéed mushrooms and asparagus. I cooked the steak in the same skillet that I sautéed the veggies. It’s really very simple to make 🙌⁣ ⁣ Recipe: ⁣ • Preheat a skillet to medium heat with avocado oil. ⁣ • Season both sides of the steak with salt and black pepper. Put into the preheated pan and sear both sides for a few minutes. Turn the heat down to low-medium and cook until how you like it. ⁣ • Put the mushrooms and asparagus into the skillet at the same time as the steak and sauté with salt and black pepper. Feel free to also add minced garlic for extra flavor. ⁣ • Top with fresh parsley⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #steak #paleo #paleofood

Pretty much have this #paleo chicken soup on *repeat* (anyone else experiencing cold weather?? we are in CT!) 🥣this soup is so easy to make and delicious! (plus it's #whole30/ #keto friendly!) ☺️here's how to make it: 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 cup celery chopped finely 1 cup onion chopped finely 2 cups carrots sliced in small circles (use less if keto) ½ tablespoon garlic minced 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons pepper 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary chopped 1 teaspoon dried thyme or sprigs of thyme leaves ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes 4 bay leaves 48 oz chicken broth 4 zucchini spiralized (off to the side, do not add to soup until ready to eat) In a pan, heat olive oil. Sauté celery, onion, carrots and garlic for about 5 minutes. Add chicken breasts into the pot. Stir in spices and add in chicken stock. Turn the stove to high heat and bring the soup to a boil. Once boiling reduce to a simmer for 30-40 minutes. After soup has simmered, remove chicken breasts from the pot + shred on a cutting board with forks or in a mixer. Place chicken back in the pot, and stir to combine. When ready to serve, add raw, room temperature zucchini noodles, they will warm in the soup! What foods are you craving during this crazy time? 🥑🌮🍣 I found myself craving some Greek good the past few days, and with everyone in quarantine I decided to try and make it for myself! Pictured is my version of a paleo friendly Greek Chicken Gyro. Paleo friendly “pita bread” and a homemade Tzaztiki sauce made with primal kitchens olive oil mayo and some coconut creams instead of the Greek yogurt. CURRY CHICKEN SALAD / / whole30 + paleo approved. I found myself picking up a container of this stuff each time I went to Whole Foods, so I finally decided to make it myself—and it’s actually really easy! Here’s all you need: 1 cup chicken, chopped or shredded (I used a herb roasted rotisserie chicken here) 1/4 cup @primalkitchenfoods mayo 1 tbsp curry powder 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 cup cashews or almonds, chopped 1/2 an apple, cubed 2 squeezes of lime A pinch of salt + pepper Just mix these ingredients up in a small bowl! I always add a bit of spinach, some additional apple slices, and @simplemills crackers ✨♥️.

A few days ago I shared how I took inventory of everything in my freezer and I’ve been trying to use it all up. I defrosted cod and made fish and chips with broccoli! This meal took just under an hour to complete and it was so satisfying! I loved making this because I was just using up ingredients I had on hand! FISH (makes 4 filets) • 1 egg whisked for coating • 1/2 cup of Almond Flour • 1/2 cup of coconut flour • 2 TBS of Arrowroot Powder • 1 TSP each of garlic powder, onion powder, real salt & black pepper —mixed this all together and used it as the coating. First I dipped the fish in the egg, then the flour mixture and placed on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and baked at 425 for 15 minutes EVERYTHING BUT THE BAGEL POTATOES • Wash and slice baby russet potatoes and place face up on a baking sheet. • Drizzle with avocado oil and sprinkle a GENEROUS amount of Everything but the Bagel seasoning • Roast at 425 until fork tender (about 20 minuite s) GARLIC & LEMON BROCCOLI • Heat a large pan and place just enough water to disburse evenly throughout the pan • Add broccoli florets making sure to cut and large florets and chop off any long stems. Sprinkle a tsp of real salt. • Cover with lid and steam for about 5 minutes (more of you like your broccoli a little more tender.) after about 5 minuite the water will have evaporated, be sure to check on broccoli and be sure they don’t burn! • Remove from pan and toss with the juice of 1 lemon and set aside. • Slice garlic and sauté for a few minuets in some avocado oil, remove from heat when garlic begins to brown. Toss oil and garlic with the broccoli. TARTER SAUCE • Mix a few TBS of avocado oil mayonnaise with a splash of apple cider vinegar and some finely chopped pickle slices. I’m loving Claussen pickles, especially the round cut for burgers! Mix in a splash of hot sauce and a pinch of salt for some extra taste. Anyone else using their crockpot during this quarantine??? Well, I don’t have a choice because my oven is out of order until April 21st😳 *Hey guess what, you can’t leave your house. Guess what else, no oven!* Anyway, today I made Tasty Mojo Pork from the new @madewholecookbooks it marinated over night then cooked all day while I was at work. When I got home I threw some cauliflower in the air fryer for 20 mins, sliced some avocado and warmed up a cheesy biscuit (recipe from @keto.connect ) then dinner was served! Easy peasy and delicious! Refreshing & comforting = perfect dinner 👌 • Ground turkey & sautéd peppers and onion salad w/ avocado lime mayo dressing 🥑 • -Sautéd ground turkey & diced red onion - seasoned with minced garlic, ground paprika, mustard seed, salt, and lemon & pepper seasoning • -Chopped bell peppers and diced red onion, charred over high heat - then, added mushrooms to pan for a few minutes • -Plate over as many greens as desired. When I created this account my #1 goal was to inspire others to get more fiber into their diet through food after seeing the positive effects it has had on my life and my #2 goal was to show how to prepare very easy quick balanced meals. I tend to get into my own head and think- is this valuable? Is someone getting something out of THIS post? I’m going to work on making sure my posts deliver either knowledge or inspire an action. I sat here and thought what is the value of today’s picture? What I hope you take away from it is that cutting corners to eat healthy is ok, even more so encouraged. Frozen food gets a bad rep but in reality there are so many veggies that are sold frozen with no additives. This frozen mashed sweet potato 🍠 from @traderjoes took me 10 minutes to make- why would I make it from scratch? Today’s dinner took a total of 20 minutes, all ingredients bought from @traderjoes - what is your favorite food hack?

GUT HEALING CHICKEN SOUP🍜 . When 80% of your immune system is located in your gut in makes sense to take care of you gut if you want to improve your immune system (I’m assuming pretty much everyone is on board with improving their immune system right now). . I’ve made this soup before, and just whipped up a batch to have for the rest of the week. It’s so tasty and comforting but also super easy (I show you step by step in my stories on how to make it). . INGREDIENTS 〰️2 Tbsp of @chosenfoods avocado oil 〰️1/2 large yellow onion 〰️4 cloves of garlic 〰️4 stalks of celery 〰️2 large carrots 〰️3 medium zucchini 〰️3-4 chicken breast 〰️1 L of chicken broth 〰️Sea salt & pepper . Start by adding the avocado oil in a large pot, then sauté the onions and garlic. Once they are translucent add in the finely chopped celery and carrots, sauté until they soften up. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil, bring down and add the chicken and spiralized zucchini (don’t add the zucchini too early because they can get a bit mushy). Add salt and pepper, and any other spice you desire and voila! . Save it and try it out next time you need a little comfort in a bowl/gut health boost/immune boost! 😉

FISH TACOS 🐠🌮💃🏼 will be a new staple in this restaurant! Anyone else feel like they’re running a 👩🏼‍🍳restaurant?! 🤣 There are a few diff parts of this recipe, but all come together to make one amazing dinner - fun way to switch it up from our regular meals. This was also Nick’s “favorite meal in quarantine” if this says anything! Here we go: TACOS 🌮:: (2) 4-6 oz pieces wild mahi mahi 1/2-1 cup @primalkitchenfoods thousand island dressing (to marinate for about 15 mins) Butter lettuce for shells *Sear on medium heat w/ avo oil for about 3-4 mins each side COLESLAW: 1 package coleslaw mix 2 bell peppers, sliced 1/2 c avocado🥑 mayo 2 tbsp ACV 1 tbsp monk fruit (used @lakanto ) *Mix salad & peppers all together well then add dressing. PICKLED RED 🧅ONIONS: 1/2 red onion, sliced 1 tbsp monk fruit *cover with 1/2 c red wine vinegar & 1/2 c water (cover until onions are 100% immersed *cover and allow to marinate for ~1 hour SPICY AIOLI: 1/4 c avocado mayo 3-4 tsp hot sauce Wrap tacos in butter lettuce 🥬 and serve with avocado, pickled red onions & whatever other toppings you like!! We paired with some @siete chips and cashew quest & it was bomb 💣🤤💃🏼 What’s on your menu tonight?! #PurelyPope 💖

Video Recipe👇Slow Cooker/Instant Pot Korean Style Short Ribs (slow-Carb, Paleo, Whole30) __ Old recipe recently updated with #instantpot instructions. More info👉https://fitslowcookerqueen.com/slow-cooker-korean-short-ribs-paleo-whole30-lowcarb/ (click link in profile). __ Slow Cooker/Instant Pot Korean Style Short Ribs (slow-Carb, Paleo, Whole30) 🔹Ingredients 3 pounds beef short ribs (I used @feltonangusbeef) 2 green onions, sliced 1 tbsp sesame oil (for pressure cooker) Sauce: 1/2 cup coconut aminos (or low-sodium soy sauce) 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup rice vinegar 2 tsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp ground ginger Pinch of salt & pepper 🔸Instructions 🔻Slow Cooker Add short ribs to the slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix together sauce ingredients. Pour the sauce on top of the short ribs. Cook HIGH 3-4 hours or LOW 6-8. Garnish with sesame seeds & green onions. 🔻Electric Pressure Cooker (Instant Pot) Turn on the IP and select Sauté. Once hot add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the pot. Add the short ribs and sear on all sides, 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate. Add the sauce ingredients to the pressure cooker. Stir to mix well. If needed, deglaze the bottom of the pressure cooker by scraping all the bits off with a wooden spoon. Add the short ribs back into the pressure cooker. Close lid and seal valve. Set manual (high) pressure to 40. When done cooking, quick release the pressure. . . . . . . . . Skip the corn and try out my paleo “corn” bread muffins!! 🌽 Corn is a grain not a vegetable It’s a gmo crop and highly over sprayed with things like glyphosate. It’s also not very nutritional to begin with even if it was organically grown. If you are to consume corn, the best way to prepare it is by soaking, sprouting, or fermenting it in addition to it being organic. Paleo “Corn” Bread Muffins 5 eggs 3/4 cup coconut milk 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1/4 cup raw honey 1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar 2 1/4 cup almond flour 1/4 cup coconut flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp sea salt Preheat 350. Grease or line 12 muffin tin cups. Combine wet ingredients in one bowl and dry in another. Add the dry to the wet and stir until fully incorporated and smooth. I recommend an egg beater to mix. Add mixture to muffin tins, bake 16-20 mins, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean! Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chuck Roast | Slow cook tender chunks of beef into a wholesome meal with savory veggies, broth, and fresh herbs.⠀ ⠀ Ingredients⠀ - 2 T ghee⠀ - 3 lb chuck roast⠀ - 1 t garlic, minced⠀ - 2 T grass-fed butter⠀ - 1 t dried oregano⠀ - 1/2 t sea salt⠀ - 1/4 t ground black pepper⠀ - 2 cups beef stock⠀ - 1/4 cup coconut aminos⠀ - 4 cups petite carrots⠀ - 2 cups sweet potatoes, cubed⠀ - 1 cup sweet white onion, chopped⠀ - 4 celery stalks, halved⠀ - 2 sprigs rosemary⠀ - 2 T chopped basil for serving⠀ ⠀ Instructions⠀ 1. Melt the ghee over medium-high heat in a large stockpot for 2 minutes. Blot the beef dry with a paper towel and season on both sides with oregano, salt, and pepper.⠀ 2. Place the beef into the pot and sear it on both sides for 4 minutes. Add the garlic to the pot and sauté for 20 seconds.⠀ 3. Transfer the beef and drippings to a crock pot with beef stock and coconut aminos. Cover with a lid and let it cook for 6 hours on low.⠀ 4. Add the carrots, sweet potatoes, onion, celery, and rosemary to the crock pot. Use a large spoon to drizzle the stock from the pot onto the veggies. Cover and continue cooking for 2 more hours.⠀ 5. When finished, transfer the beef roast to a cutting board and shred into large chunks.
