Body shaming is no bueno… but often, the person we criticize the most is the one we see in the mirror. How’s that inner dialogue?
It’s time to make the switch to positive self-talk because what you focus on EXPANDS! Focusing on what you don’t like about your body leads nowhere fast.
So, how do you overcome it? Be your own best friend!
If you had a friend following you around all day, repeating the stuff you say to yourself…
would you still want to be friends with them? If not - stop talking to yourself that way!
You have the power to change your life by changing HOW you talk to yourself. Even if it doesn’t feel natural at first, I promise that positive self talk will start to feel more natural the more you do it.
So, I want you to start paying attention to when those negative thoughts come up. When they do, acknowledge the potential power it has and then kick it to the curb with at least 3 positive thoughts about yourself!
Ps: want in on a secret? I never posted this picture of my trip because I automatically picked it apart- I look too big, too fat, too tired... but you know what?! Heck with it- I ran a freaking half marathon in Vegas, cheers to that!
