Better begins within 💚 With so much information being circulated about immunity right now it can feel confusing about where to start or what to do! There are simple, everyday actions that we can all do to support our immune system operate at it’s best. Our awesome team Naturopath, Jen ( @keeperandkin ) shares her top simple *evidence based* tips for immune support. —- 1. Baseline nutrition. 4 out of 5 Australians do not meet their minimum fruit and vegetable requirements each day. Prioritising giving your body to tools it needs to function is the best way of supporting a healthy immune response. —- 2. Consistently move your body. —- 3. Get quality sleep. Sleep is considered an important modulator of the immune response. The average body needs 7 - 9 hours of quality sleep per night so making this a priority and practicing good sleep hygiene is an investment in immunity. —- 4. Boost the extras. 🥕Antioxidants are important players in immune health, yet the demand for these is increased in times of stress. Aim to eat (or drink 😉) the rainbow and consume plenty of brightly coloured fruits and vegetables. 🌞Get 15 mins of morning sun on your legs and arms to improve vitamin D intake. This will increase your access to nutrients proven to impact immunity. 💦Stay hydrated. 80% of Australians are chronically dehydrated. This impacts our decision making skills and food choices. Does anyone have some good workout ideas? My trainer challenged me to closing all of my rings every day in April! 6 days in and I’m exhausted. I didn’t want to get off the couch, I felt like I needed a nap...but I got up, had some pre workout, and busted it out! 1️⃣ 15 min of your desired cardio (I’m doing 15 min every day on the elliptical) 2️⃣ 10 Reps X 3 Sets - Step Ups with the 20lbs kettlebells 3️⃣ 10 Reps X 3 Sets - Body Weight Squats 4️⃣ 12 Reps X 3 Sets - Stiff Leg Deadlifts with 20lbs kettlebell 5️⃣ 15 Reps X 3 Sets - Hip Thrusts with Glute Band Anyone else running out of things to do in quarantine?

Some words of wisdom from @thiscurvyworld ・・・ What does it mean to you live in abundance? When you think of abundance do you think a huge bank account or a feeling of contentment and security in the knowledge that you have all that you need and always will. An “abundant life” refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body and soul. It signifies a contrast of feelings of lack, emptiness and dissatisfaction. When you ask for abundance you open the doors to what you need which can mean something different for everyone. ⁠ ⁠ When I was much younger I think I operated from a place of fear. Fear that there wasn’t enough for everyone and therefore I needed to take what was mine and hold onto it tight. As I grew in age and knowledge I began to understand that there is indeed enough in the world for everyone... and then some. Today is the day I have started my own 10-week health challenge✊ I'm committing myself the following for the next 10 weeks: 〰️ Morning prenatals/multivitamins to make sure I'm getting my vitamins in for the day.🌿 〰️ 25-minute workout with @sworkit, 6 days a week. I've been using the Sworkit app for just over a half a year now and have tried various plans + different challenges from them. I made a jar with my favourites + ones my body NEEDS, and every day I'm choosing 1 or 2.🏋️‍♀️ 〰️ Sometime between working out + lunch time, I'm taking @plexusworldwide 's famous pink drink, Slim. A few years ago, I tried it + gave up. Then again. Now I'm committing to at least 10 weeks before I quit. I'll keep you posted😏 〰️ Afternoons are for Metamucil, as I get constipated easier since about a year ago. To enjoy an abundant (healthy) life, I’ve found that it is crucial to remove harmful chemicals, eat more Whole Foods, and support your body more holistically for physical, mental, emotional and ESPECIALLY spiritual wellbeing. Take heart if your thinking your emotional imbalances are somehow a lack of faith or something wrong with your walk with God. You may be feeling your not enough or your not spiritual enough. But listen to me, You ARE enough and God just wants to pour out His infinite wisdom on you so you can live free in Him. Alot of times things aren’t jiving well in our bodies (and sometimes it is those additive filled tacos we ate last night) that triggers abnormalities in our emotions. Let me encourage you, if your feeling overly anxious, panic, depressed, etc..these things are not “normal” and our society has been trying to normalize these symptoms. When I started to realize these exasperated emotions were all signs of an underlying issue within the body I was so relieved. I was relieved to know that it wasn’t because I wasn’t somehow spiritually strong enough. And as I got healthier things started to turn around MASSIVELY and my spiritual life was thriving more and more as I did so. Listen I have great news for you today. You can start your journey RIGHT NOW. Start pulling out those veggies and start implementing healthy grains like quinoa in your diet. Ditch the soda and Start drinking lots of water today.
