I have something to say and I’m not going to sensor myself to please other people. Some people were “angered” due to the content of my last post. They said that I wasn’t “celebrating” those who were at the beginning levels of their fitness journey. So let me clarify a few things. In my opinion using pink dumbbells, a couple of bands, and doing workouts that amount to nothing aren’t things we should celebrate. We live in a society where everything needs to be “easy”. I’ve got news for you: Being fit isn’t easy. Nor should it be. It takes discipline, effort and desire. Every image and video I see (besides those of professional athletes) is of women doing the most ridiculous things under the guise of working out. News flash: Most of that shit doesn’t work. I’ve trained a lot of beginners. Some who’ve never lifted a weight in their lives. We deadlift, we jump, we squat, and we train like athletes. Yes, we do structural work and train around injuries but what we don’t do is go in the corner, roll around on a mat with bands around our knees making sex faces and pretend that it hurts. So let’s circle back to the comment in my video that triggered people... Fuck your pink dumbbells. I’m here for real fitness not your bullshit.
